Not Alone
We are not alone. We are in the background, where we experience perspective. Though we are locked into our own thoughts, we’ve been shaped by our experiences, interactions, society, culture, and civilization. Even though we are individuals who stand alone, we have been shaped by our environment, education, spiritual, and travels.
The perspective of Not Alone is from behind the object with an outward view. The view from the behind implies that we’re alone looking out at the world. Our ideas are formed from our persona and individuality.
Even though it appears that we are wrapped in our own thoughts. We have drawn from a base of knowledge within us. This base is our prepared eye that lets us capture art. “Not Alone” shows how thoughts are drawn out of us and projected onto objects, persons and things through our art.
Frontier
Up in the air looking down below, I felt the excitement of the frontier. Aiming onto nature’s unblemished scene, I captured the snow mountains and its rivers as the clouds shifted; untouched by human endeavor. This experience moved and filled me with a mystic reverence. Our planet earth is all about nature, beauty and our relationship with it.
